I finally did IT, I finally found a photo that I liked and that I could write something on. A weekend away has cleared the head.....................
Tonight I ventured back into Flicker................. and typed "public libraries" in the search box, where within a few pages in I stumbled across an image I rather liked entitled "Book Sculpture - SQC" http://www.flickr.com/photos/auntie/102849108/ and being a Stargate fan..... Absololutly Loved it.... I thought gees if I ever don't know what to do with the books I buy and collect I could turn them into some sort of artwork....... Thus began my journey.......... As I then was set on finding other Book/reading sculptures and found some very interesting images....

Anothet idea popped into my head and I thought wouldn't it be great to hold a competition for young adults to come up with some art work, sculpture or something that relates to reading and then showcase it in our libraries... Then we could put the photos on Fliker for all the world to SEE!!! Has any BCC library done something like this before?????? On this note............. I am off to think more about it as I work my way through RSS feeds........................
